Professional Background
Azat Malikgulyyev is the Managing Partner of Export Hyzmat with over 10 years of experience in export promotion, trade facilitation, and private sector development. He graduated from Kocaeli University (Turkey) with a Bachelor's degree in Economics (2010-2014).
At Export Hyzmat he is directing the development and implementation of strategic consulting services and export promotion initiatives. He manages a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality project delivery in compliance with international standards and donor requirements.
From December 2021 to April 2025, he served as National Trade Facilitation Associate at DAI Global LLC (USAID TCA), where he successfully organized the participation of nine companies from Central Asia at Gulfood 2024 (Dubai, UAE), resulting in contracts with over 20 buyers totaling more than $7 million USD. He coordinated the participation of 12 representatives from 7 private companies at Macfrut 2024 (Rimini, Italy), managed the Trade Facilitation Service Providers Initiative, and provided export development consultations for seven local agricultural companies.
From June 2018 to December 2021, he worked as Private Sector Development Specialist at DAI Global LLC (USAID CTJ), where he coordinated technical assistance projects for the private sector, engaged with over 100 business groups in agriculture, food production, logistics, and tourism, and closely liaised with the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
In 2025, he led Turkmen Congress (Project Manager, June-September) and Turkmen Expo (Project Manager, March-June) projects, ensuring planning and customization of the Cvent platform for managing the Turkmenistan Investment Forum 2025, coordinating with government delegations, international investors, and business participants.
